Thalrik, known as Thal by his close ones, was born in the majestic castle of Ignis. His mother, the late widowed queen, was seduced by his father, Lorven Crephar, a man of dark ambitions. Tragically, his mother did not survive childbirth, leaving Thalrik in the care of his strict father.
From childhood, Thalrik was subjected to a severe education. Lorven had high expectations for his son, wanting to mold him into a wise and astute prince. Thalrik was masterfully trained in hand-to-hand combat and swordsmanship. Despite the discipline, the relationship between father and son was tumultuous. Lorven, a man of cold and calculating temperament, could not tame Thalrik's rebellious spirit, resulting in frequent confrontations.
In his adolescence and until the age of 23, Thalrik rebelled against his father's expectations, becoming notoriously womanizing. He sought fun in taverns, involving himself with prostitutes not just for pleasure but also to provoke Lorven. These acts of defiance were his way of asserting himself against paternal rigidity.
As Thalrik prepares to inherit the throne of Ignis, a profound change occurs in his heart. Determined to abandon his life of debauchery, he seeks to find a true companion, be it a queen or a king. Despite still frequenting high-class taverns to enjoy good rum, his attention is now focused on something more meaningful.
